BYE, BYE End cap

Hello, fellow car audio enthusiasts and installers!

It’s time for the car audio industry to say goodbye to one of its longest-serving relics. No, I’m not talking about the cassette tape deck; it peacefully faded away over a decade ago. And let’s not even get started on the CD player, which, against all odds, still hangs on for those rare AM radio aficionados.

No, my friends, I’m here to bid adieu to a small piece of plastic that has long outlived its usefulness—the end cap or side spacer. With our fantastic range of model and brand-specific units, it’s time to toss these plastic relics into the recycling bin, pointless packaging and all.

Why pay an exorbitant amount for a flimsy piece of plastic when you can enjoy the sleek perfection of our car audio multimedia units? That’s right, there’s no need to fit an end cap ever again!

Now, I may be joking, but let’s not forget that our goal here is  the end users, our customers. They’ve entrusted us not only with providing great sound in their vehicles but also with creating a seamless connection to the outside world through maps and Bluetooth.

At OEM Audio, we believe in giving customers what they need based on their driving patterns and desires. After all, we’re enhancing something that, for most people, is a source of pride and joy—their vehicles. The products we supply should not only work flawlessly but also fit perfectly and look right at home in the vehicle.

Too often, we encounter vehicles fitted with a double din unit and those pesky end caps. Frankly, it looks dreadful and signals that the installer probably never bothered to have a real conversation with the customer. It’s high time we put an end to the end cap and focus on matching the right product to the right vehicle with the right specifications.

So, let’s bid a fond farewell to the end cap and usher in a new era of car audio excellence. Join us at OEM Audio, where end caps and side spacers have no place in 2024. We appreciate their service, but it’s time for them to retire gracefully.

See you at OEM Audio, where we’re rewriting the future of car audio, one trim at a time!
