Solar EV Charging

Our range of BCP Smart Wall Chargers with Solar DLB can be set-up so that your EV will charge either 100% from your solar panels, or only from the grid, or a mixture of both. It’s easy to set up using the ZBox app on your smartphone. You’ll also be grateful for the charger’s Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) technology. It has the ability to balance the EV charge session with household appliances powered on at the same time.

1. Your vehicle will charge at the same rate as the output of the solar array

2. If the solar output drops below the minimum rate then the EV will charge at the minimum rate. The recommended minimum rate is 6A.

3. You can opt for 100% supply from the grid.

Some customers may already have a BCP Smart Wall Charger and wish to connect the wall charger to the solar panels at a later date. A Solar DLB box needs to be installed by a Registered Electrician with experience wiring up solar panels.

If you are starting out from scratch purchase a BCP Solar Smart Wall Charger Package in either a single phase or three phase configuration.

Your solar EV charging equipment system will not work unless you have the correct components wired up in the correct manner. Please take care when ordering that the right components are purchased. If unsure please speak with our team.
