Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important: A genuine smart EV charger connects to the customer’s home or business network, so cybersecurity should be considered alongside electrical safety, charging performance and reliability. The EcoCharge product family has been independently evaluated by Bureau Veritas LCIE against ETSI EN 303 645, the recognised European cybersecurity standard for consumer Internet of Things products.
It has also been evaluated to EN 18031-1:2024 under RED Article 3.3(d) for the protection of communications networks. This provides dealers, electricians and customers with added confidence that EcoCharge has been designed for secure, modern connected charging, rather than simply having an app added to a basic charger.
